Nashvegas Bachelorette Guide!

Nashville- AKA Nashvegas AKA music city. This recently trending bachelorette location has gained some serious popularity in the past few years, and for good reason! With everything from culture, to food, to shopping, to a 24/7 party scene, this city is winning over female hearts faster than you can say “ring of fire.” There is just something about the atmosphere- maybe it’s the opportunity in the air I smell? So many people just wanting to be heard and catch their big break. This city is full of passion and grit and gumption. It’s a feeling that’s hard to explain but damn it’s electric, and contagious!

I recommend an Air BNB for your long weekend. There are TONS! We found one between 12 South and downtown/the gulch and it was the perfect 10 or 15 minute walk to get to all the major spots. 12 south (short for 12th avenue south) is the best place to begin your morning. Start with a “monkey mocha” from Frothy Monkey. Then head over to Draper James for some retail therapy. Possibly run into Reese herself! You’ll find a bunch of fun boutiques along this street and some great restaurants. Plus spot a few murals to add to your photo collection! Nashville is known for its killer street art.

For lunch try Acme feed and seed downtown on Music Row. Head upstairs to the top floor to look over the river and the Titans stadium. Or Pinewood Social, a local favorite. Sort of like the adult Chuck E Cheese, but with cocktails. After lunch, cruise over to the country music hall of fame, a couple blocks over. This is a must. You’ll see everything from Dolly Parton’s spectacular concert outfits, to Elvis’s car, to Taylor Swift’s iconic rhinestone guitar. This place can’t be missed and will give you such perspective on this city and a newfound respect for country music.

The gulch is a fun district between downtown and 12 South. Here you will find fun restaurants like Biscuit love (Biscuits. Fried chicken. Need I say more?) and Milk and Honey, as well as the epic wings mural (breathtaking!!!) Allow at least an hour wait time in line to get your chance at a photo op here, but so worth it. The gulch is also the home to Kristin Cavallari’s new storefront, Uncommon James!

Nothing beats Music Row. Every single corner, every single bar, and every single floor has live music. It’s a party at all hours of the day. Grab some drinks and get lost. What I like about downtown Nashville is that it’s so laid back. You can be in jeans and cowboy boots and totally fit in, and if you want to throw your heals on and doll up at night you can do that too. Anything goes!

You can’t leave music city without visiting the Bluebird café and the Ryman Auditorium. The Bluebird Café is where all aspiring singer/songwriters die to play. It is where Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks scored record deals. It is a super tiny, intimate venue but that’s what makes it so great. You are literally a few feet from the stage no matter where you sit. Ever since the TV show “Nashville” took off, there has been a line out the door. Everyone wants a peak inside Nashville’s little gem. The Ryman is home to the Grand Ole Opry. You can find up and coming artists perform here as well and of course Country’s biggest names. Another bucket list item!

There is so much to see in this city! It’s hard to cram it all into a weekend. If you can steal away for 3 or 4 days that’s the way to go. If anything the only thing you’ll regret about this trip is not staying longer.
